Visit in Newport, RI
We took advantage of the place and spent a few hours visiting the rich town of Newport.

Woods Hole, MA to Newport, RI
We left Woods Hole, MA at 0715 and sailed all day to arrive in Newport, RI at 1415. Can't ask for a better sailing day.

We even saw Irving Oil tankers in Newport, RI.

Entering Newport, we see a house isolated on a single rock.
Largest sloop in the world. The red sailboat next to the mega yacht is 40 ft in length.

Day Trip to Martha's Vineyard
Oasis stayed mored in Woods Harbour today. The crew took advantage of the spare day to go visit this nice tourist place.
The crew took the ferry to the island of Martha's Vineyard and left Oasis behind in Woods Hole.
We took a bus tour around the island.

Woods Hole, MA
The trip from Onset to Woods Hole was a wet one with strong winds. We did not take any photos, there was nothing to see.
Oasis mored in Woods Hole, TBEN (our dinghy) was used often.
Louis and Raymond happy to be on the ground after a rough day.
We had a nice meal and drinks to celebrate Acadian day!
