Light winds, mostly cloudy in the morning, clearing up by the afternoon made this last journey for the crew, an enjoyable one.

Cohansey River, NJ to Georgetown, MD
Oasis sailed from the Cohansey River, NJ up the Delaware Bay, through the C & D Canal, down the Chesapeake Bay, MD into the Sassafras River to Georgetown, MD.
Beautiful sunny skies and light north west wind made this voyage very comfortable.
The captain had planned this trip so that Oasis would sail with the current in the canal.
Nuclear Power Plant located along the Delaware Bay.
Jacques is on the lookout for debris in the bay.

Cape May, NJ to Cohansey River, NJ
Sunshine all day from Cape May going into Delaware Bay and up the Cohansey River,NJ.
Practically no wind during the day but got thunderstorm and squalls late at night. Weather finally calm down for the crew to get some good night sleep.
Captain put up the sails to help motoring. Oasis had 2 knots of current against her bow in the Delaware Bay.
We saw many oil tankers in the bay along the route.
Captain keeping watch on the coming traffic.

The Winding Cohansey River is about 7 nm long by 25 feet deep and 200 feet wide, surrounded with grassy marshland. In view, the Hancock Harbour Marina.

Atlantic City, NJ to Cape May, NJ
Oasis made the last leg of the New Jersey Coastline in very good weather. Sunny and warm with calm waters all the way.

Atlantic City, New Jersey
Oasis stayed put in Atlantic City for a few days due to bad weather from the tropical storm Lee.
This city boost world renowned casinos, night shows, restaurants and blackjack dealers.

Barnegat Bay NJ to Atlantic City NJ
Due to heavy fog and shifting sand bars at Barnegat Bay Inlet, Oasis did a U-Turn in the channel and pursued her journey into the New Jersey Intracoastal Waterway to Atlantic City.
It is not advise to enter the channel at Barnegat Bay Inlet in heavy fog.
Bridge Clearance Marker at 57 feet which is Oasis total height.
Close call for Oasis's mast. She had to make sure the wind indicator was not lined up with the directional lighting under the bridge.
The captain is pleased that Oasis went under the bridge safely.
A common sight along the NJICW, boats docked in front of houses.
On this side of the street, the ICW and on the far end, the ocean.
